Historic Cottage Accommodations

Park Lane Guest House offers three unique cottages constructed with reclaimed period materials. The Vicky House features stained glass windows, antique wood interior walls, and a sleeping loft accessed by ladder with an antique pedestal tub in the bathroom. The Carriage House includes hand-glazed walls, stained concrete floors, and French doors opening to the stone pool deck with an antique claw foot tub. The largest cottage has vaulted ceilings, European stained glass, Longleaf pine floors, and a black-and-white tiled bathroom with dual shower heads. All cottages include kitchenettes with refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee machines, plus TVs and CD players.

Organic Vegetarian Breakfast

A full vegetarian or vegan breakfast is delivered to your cottage or private deck daily from 8:00-9:15 AM. The menu features eggs from free-range hens on property, organic fruits and herbs harvested from the garden, and locally-sourced products. Breakfast is made-to-order using produce grown on-site and from surrounding areas.

Pool and Garden Setting

Guests can swim in the shaded pool under heritage live oak trees. The property includes rental bicycles for neighborhood exploration, an outdoor shower, and wind chimes throughout the gardens. French doors in each cottage open to private patios overlooking the garden areas.

South Austin Location

Located in Austin's historic SoCo district, the property is a 1.5 km walk to South Congress Avenue shops and restaurants. This hotel truly won me over with its charm and pleasant surroundings. The lovely patio with a swimming pool and the giant Live Oak tree providing generous shade added to the enchanting atmosphere. However, some improvements needed for better privacy and lighting in the rooms.

This lovely hotel offers beautifully decorated rooms that surround a charming patio with a swimming pool and a giant Live Oak tree providing generous shade. The rooms are gorgeous, well-appointed, and have everything you might need, but the price could be a bit high for some budgets. The service is excellent, with thoughtful attention to every detail, making my 2-night stay in Austin a delightful getaway.
